Working in an active agricultural field presented certain obstacles that we usually don’t encounter-not disturbing the soil! Luckily, this cleanup took place during winter, so the frozen soil helped immensely with not damaging any crops. Consequently, we were able to use rubber-track or tire equipment to work on the bean field after we confirmed the ground was frozen enough to work on.
“RW Collins assisted us in ground-truthing our planned approach to make sure it made the most practical and economic sense. I was thoroughly impressed with the professionalism and efficiency of the RW Collins crew. Specialty equipment, attachments, trucks for hauling or delivering materials, and supplies needed to complete the project were mobilized to our job site the same day or sometimes within hours of a request.” -Paul Ruesch, On-Scene Coordinator | U.S. EPA Region 5
